Objective: Visit children with cancer hospitalised in the paediatric oncology floor at the hospital, and their families.
The president of the Foundation, Eric Abidal, could meet some doctors from different surgical specialities and could also share the experiences of members of the Course du Coeur with the Necker hospital team (TeamNecker), a charity team race with the goal of supporting and raising awareness of organ donation.
During the visit, some heads of services from the Necker-Enfants Malades hospital accompanied Eric Abidal to visit some hospitalised children, with whom he chatted for a while and encouraged them in their recovery. All of them received an autographed photo from the French former footballer, as well as a Foundation wristband.
The children, some family members and the hospital staff thanked the Foundation for the visit, which helped in establishing future collaboration between the two entities.
